The term Bully Pulpit is derived from Teddy Roosevelt's reference to the American Presidency as a political platform from which one could persuasively advocate an agenda. Because the presidency is a position of significantly high rank, a president is able to use the office in order to bring forth issues not necessarily of public priority. Roosevelt, whose candidacy for president in 1912 influenced the Progressive Party to be dubbed the "Bull Moose" party, used the word "bully" as an adjective with the implication of "superb" or "wonderful", rather than in the sense of "harasser".
At Bully Pulpit Clothing, our agenda is to provide cutting edge original clothing that preaches non-conformity to the masses. Our intent is to do so through the unique flavor spawned from blending of the graffiti and urban styles from the streets of Baltimore with the tattooed and pierced skater styles from the beach of Virginia.
